This workshop engaged with the public in contact improvisation, focusing on the significance of the body and the concentrated struggles and desires of humanity within power dynamics.
Contact Improvisation is an open-ended exploration of the kinaesthetic possibilities of bodies moving through contact. It is a form of expression built upon an extended list of traditions, including contemporary dance, postmodern methods of composition, Chinese wushu, and Japanese aikido. It emphasises physical interaction and improvised dialogue.
